Loss

Post by Her number1 » Sun Oct 06, 2024 6:50 pm

I don't want go be a downer, but I want to share my hurt with people who care.
I lost a friend, a Real, friend today to a tractor accident.
I was in his wedding party, we shared many hundreds of miles traveling together, treking over miles of wilderness, and he had my back through several life threathening situations.
We watched each others children grow, as well as ourselves grow older, always knowing the other was there for the other.
Please pray for his wife and sons.
My heart is sick.

Dear Her number1,

I'm so touched that you felt comfortable sharing your news and feelings with us on this forum. Thank you.
Like the others here, I'm sorry to learn of your loss.
The reality of getting older is that the majority of the people we have known in life are no longer with us.
How lucky we are to have known them.

Every good wish,

This becomes a sad time when we lose someone special to us.
I offer my best wishes that this family (and yours) recover quickly.
Greif can be with us for a very long time. There will always be triggers that bring a memory back to us.
I do hope that all find peace and understanding.

Oh dear Hn1, My wife and myself pass on our deepest condolences to you and Farmgirl with the loss of your friend. People do not realize how dangerous agriculture can be on a daily basis. Farmers lay it on the line everyday to provide food and meat for people. If you ever see a farmer you might notice a lot of them are missing fingers, have scars. At one time Agriculture was the highest risk job title in America. Again sorry for you loss my friend, I hope time will heal your wounds some and never forget the good memories!

To each of you, you are appreciated more than you can know.
I know the content of this site is sexual in nature, and we love it for that. But, it is also a community, a group of friends, and I thank you for your support.
I am thankful and also humbled.

My heart goes out to you Her number1! I was just thinking about all the friends and family I've lost over the years. The older I get, the more I realize how the pain of those losses affect me. It isn't so simple to acknowledge that your chance to see or to speak with them again is gone for good. Fresh wounds like yours are dominated with the immediate pain. Time will eventually replace that pain with memories of fun times and proud moments you shared with your friend. Dwell on those while you give yourself time to grieve.
Hope is not a strategy but it's still good to have! Especially if you don't have a strategy!
