A pirate gal out to make a name for herself. Part of a pirate crew and the lead scout for them. She's usually the first to find and attempt take out or bring back a mark, hopping off the boat and swimming straight for the target(s).
Earned herself the nickname "Hooktails" by her extremely effective use of iron tail with both her tails. She can use them to grab objects and prey, but also can dig them into walls to climb up rapidly! Or just poke several holes in wooden ships, allowing her crew to swoop in on the shipwreck. While not totally heartless, she can and will be merciless when necessary and loves a good meal. Her weaponry isn't for show! Hailey's competitive nature makes her always want to be the first in on the action, so that when things go well she can take credit.
Despite her size, her stomach capacity can handle multiple prey and prey larger than herself. Hailey is also capable of rapidly churning her prey by stirring her stomach acids with 'Whirlpool', a technique she gained by ripping apart a magic tapestry, casting a pair of curses on her (that one being beneficial, the other, not so much). She uses part of it as her 'cape' which doubles as a bad of holding of sorts. The downside? Well, the other curse; Hailey can no longer live on land permanently and must always be 'at sea', either in the water or on a ship of some sort. Her strength begins to fade rapidly when on dry land for more than a full day, without a full day at sea. If she is unable to break the curse, she hopes to at least go down in history as a fearsome pirate.
I really like Buizels and Floatzels, so this was inevitable. And well worth it~
