So i'm very curious about this, i wanna ask you guys who are like devoted followers of visual novels and other 3dcg games.

Animations were the excuse to delay the current update. He'll likely take a month break at some point and when he returns, he'll have an entirely new excuse...ahem...idea, to extend the development time on the next update. If he doesn't, i'll be somewhat surprised.
Well, hopefully he'll have the next update ready to go 3 to 5 months down the road and will release it when it's actually finished rather than trying to add anything else into the game just to slow down development time.
This worries me cause some devs go back so far they do remakes of remakes before they ever finish what they're currently working on just to drag out their development cycle. If L&P gets that idea in his head to do, this will never see an end before 2100 or later.

BTW if 0.160 is such a small update,why split it?is moving!!! again!!! lol i can see 0.155 and 0.160 together
It would make sense to do it together with 0.155.
Or add 0.165 to 0.160.

I wouldn't be shocked if, late into v0.160's development, L&P makes an announcement that he has decided to add animations to it. Something along the lines of:
"Hey everyone, after much thought I've decided that this update would be made much better with animations. My helper has started on them and I hope to have them ready in another 30 to 45 days. I'll try to get a teaser out next week."
I can absolutely see that happening.
armion82 that's another possibility. I don't think it will happen, but it would speak to the absolute shambles that his development process is in if he rolls them both into one update.

We all know something is going to happen, it's just how he's been operating the last couple years. So far, like i already said, he hasn't decided to start a remake. If he ever does that before finishing this, that's pretty much the last nail in the coffin. Too many devs have been pulling that lately just to milk their patrons and it's gotten just a bit annoying.
It's not that it's in shambles. He's just releasing a third of what he use to per update. This is after he updated his computer no less. Makes me wonder why more people aren't calling him on his BS. If you upgrade a computer to speed up rendering time, that logically means one would render the same amount in a shorter time frame or add more content while keeping the same prior development cycle, both of which would speed up development of the game overall. Something is off about it and some of us know that. We get lambasted for even remotely criticizing him and/or many of our posts get deleted in "thread cleanups" by the mods.
